How to clean the printer evolis primacy?

To start the periodic cleaning of your printer:

Open the printer top cover.
Remove the printer ribbon if it is on it.
Close the cover and make sure it is closing properly.
Open the card feeder.
Remove the PVC cards from the charger if applicable.
Place the thickness measure on the MAX position.
Take a new Evolis cleaning card and remove the protective film.
Double-click the control panel push button on the front of the printer.
Insert the cleaning card into the open feeder with the adhesive side facing up. The cleaning of the printer is triggered.
The used cleaning card is automatically ejected into the receptacle. Open it and discard the used adhesive card.
Replace the ribbon and cards in the feeder, and readjust the measure to the desired card thickness.
Remember that to benefit from the extended warranty offered by Evolis on the Primacy printer, you will need to carry out a thorough maintenance by respecting cleaning cycles.

Some tips for cleaning the Zenius printer

Evolis requests that the printer be cleaned every 1000 printed cards. An alert alerts you when the time to clean your printer has arrived.
– # Open the printer cover.
– # Position the card thickness gauge on the MAX scale.
– # Remove the ribbon from the printer if it is present.
– # Close the cover and make sure it is locked.
– # Open the card feeder and remove the cards present if there are any.
– # Close the charger.
– # Take a new cleaning adhesive card supplied in the Evolis cleaning kit and remove the protective film.
– # Double-click the push button on the control panel.
– # Insert the cleaning card into the manual feeder, the adhesive side up. Automatic cleaning starts.
– # The used adhesive card is ejected by the manual feeder at the end of the cleaning cycle.
– # Put the printing ribbon back in place, then the cards in the feeder, and readjust the gauge to the desired card thickness (standard thickness 0.76mm).
